Jake the Dolphin

Jake is one of our older male dolphins, born in 1977. He has fathered three calves. While Jake might resemble most other dolphins, he is actually a star! He was one of two dolphins used in the 1995 film “Flipper.” Today, he lives in our largest pool with the other males. He is one of our largest dolphins, and he loves to splash the guests. His repertoire of tricks includes bows, dorsal speed runs and the side breach. As hyper as Jake may be, he loves to learn. One of Jake’s most noticeable features is a large scar on his back. He was likely attacked by a shark before we collected him.
