Tour Summary
Folks from all around the world come here to visit and swim with our trained Blue Lagoon dolphins! With the ever-growing popularity of our activities, the demand for an even more interactive program than before has come to be. Now available is our latest encounter, the Blue Lagoon Royal Swim!
In this experience, you get right up close to the dolphins in two settings! At first, you’ll be briefed on the behaviors and educated by our expert mammal trainers. We start in the deep water lagoon where you meet, hug, kiss, pet, and feed the dolphins for the first half hour of interaction. We then head over to the natural lagoon beach setting for the remaining half hour. During the swim time at the beach you have the opportunity to take part in the shallow water activities, which include the famous foot-push that propels you across the turquoise water on your boogey board! That’s not all, also included is a dorsal tow, cradling, and star turns! The Royal Dolphin swim is the Ultimate way to get the fullest interaction available with these amazing sea creatures!
Not only do you get the best interactive experience with our Blue Lagoon dolphins, but you are also invited to explore our beautiful beaches or lay around in one of the many double hammocks and enjoy paradise under swaying palms! Don’t forget to bring extra money for lunch and/or drink purchase on the island, there’s also watersports available such as water bikes, kayaking etc. Plan accordingly and you can spend an entire day on this island oasis at Blue Lagoon!
How large are the ferries?
The ferries are large double deck catamarans that can carry well over 100 passengers.
What is the weather cancellation policy?
If the activity must be cancelled due to bad weather, and you cannot reschedule, you will be issued a full refund.

What am I required to bring?
Please bring your email confirmation, towels and biodegradable sun screen.

- BLACKOUT DATE 2/14/19 Blue Lagoon is closed on this date.
- Cruise guests MUST be in port until 6PM or later to make it back to the ship in time for cruise ship departure. Also, arrival times for cruise ships must be 9:00am or earlier to make it in time for the ferry departure.
- Pregnant women are not permitted in this program.
- No cameras allowed.
- Must be 6 or older to participate.
- Children 6-12 must be accompanied by participating paid adult.
- Lifejackets required and provided.
- No refunds will be issued for guests that do not meet the program requirements for age, physical fitness, maternity reasons or who violate company policies.
- Dolphin Encounters reserves the right, under certain circumstances, to omit specific behaviors or interactions from the program.
