The Bahamas dolphin swim programs are different than the close encounter programs in that the close encounter programs only take guests onto a shallow water platform, whereas the swims get you fully immersed in the water. Our Swim with the Dolphins program out of Blue Lagoon in Nassau, for instance, allows you a full 25 minutes of interaction time with the dolphins including a foot push or a dorsal tow. In Freeport, we have not only the Dolphin Swim, but a few other unique and exciting swimming with the dolphins programs including an Open Ocean Dolphin Swim and a Dolphin Dive for certified scuba divers. Both locations also have Trainer for a Day programs where curious guests will get the chance to shadow our professional dolphin center employees.
